Food storage!

I like a tidy and organized house. I like keeping my cupboards practical and beautiful! Plus, i hate the annoying sound plastic food packaging does! So i thought i should use recycling for this purpose! We buy 1kilo yogurt for our home, that comes in small buckets with their cute handle! I have already used one for storing my homemade cleaning paste and now i used them for storing rice. All i needed was a plastic bag and white glue!

I had three buckets to dress with plastic. I cut the back in the middle and then i started applying glue to the plastic, small piece at a time. I carefully covered it with the bag to avoid any air bubbles  being left behind!

After covering the bucket all around i turned it upside down to cover the bottom. I cut the bag that was left in small stripes to make it fit the bottom a little better.

After gluing all the stripes down i covered them again with glue. I also decorated the lid with the bag. I applied glue on it, covered it with the plastic and carefully with an x-acto knife i cut the remaining material.

That was all! As simple as that! I needed less then an hour for all three of them!

I used them for storing rice and wrote outside of each one what it contains and the expiration date. I have to find a matching bag for the next ones!
