After having finished with the wall art in our dining table it was time to find something for the sofa wall. I had an old painting from my old house which was not at all matching to our new home. So i took it apart...i repainted the frame with black spray hang it onto the wall and bought tissue paper with which i made flowers for my 3d creation. There are tones of tissue paper flower tutorials on the web and if you use and a little bit of imagination you can get great results!i bought big black buttons and glued them in the middle of my two big flowers and used paper tape to fix the flowers to the wall.
And now i was left with the old painting standing with no frame! I took my little saw and started cutting it, making a big hole in the middle, actually making a new frame (that took me some time!) . I then took a piece of net, fixed it to my new frame which i covered with lots of green and yellow tissue paper flowers! Took a piece of yellow ribbon to hang it onto the wall in our bedroom and my new jewellery case was ready!
And there i had two new uses for something that was going to the waste!
I love the flowers on the wall!! (btw, if you like the color, old dressmaking patterns make wonderful tissue flowers, too!)
